"You've got no right to complain about normality when you practically have that mask stuck to your face," Havico groaned from the next desk over, having overheard the cat's quiet pleas.

Dyvex ignored him and continued to mumble to himself.

"Cheer up, Dyvex!" Zander yelled from the back row. "You'll feel better if you don't 'mask' your feelings!"

The whole class turned around. "ZANDER!"

The bird shrugged before the door opened.

"Hello, class!" Fortuna said happily as she walked in. She didn't bother to sit down, which only meant one thing...

"Welcome to my humble abode!" Cheered Fortuna, the laughs of the other students drowning out Dyvex's weeping as they exited the bus.

"Wowie! Turrets! Cool!" Venice's eyes had lit up after seeing the security system of Fortuna's house.

"Now, careful around the walls, class!" Fortuna motioned to everyone, trying to maintain peace. "Getting stuck in them is rare, but it happens sometimes!"
